The eighth Kuopio International Wine Festival looks this year to France, that land of painters, poets, singers, dancers, culinary delights and excellent wines.

The Wine Village by the Passenger Harbour will echo to the strains of the can-can and chansons, the air will be fragrant with the delicious smells of French country fare and the bouquet of fine French wines, and adding further seasoning will be stars on the Finnish light-music firmament.
